Mutual Aid Partners honored with Mary J. Nelson Inspirational Award

On June 3rd, United Way of Mesa County presented MAP with the Mary J. Nelson Inspirational Award for "exceptional boots-on-the-ground work supporting some of the County's most in-need individuals and families".

Highlighted as reasons for winning the award were MAP's weekly Food Distro and Resource Day, outreach to our neighbors experiencing homelessness through collaboration with the United Way to Solve Homelessness initiative & the Neighbor 2 Neighbor team, and partnership with the United Way of Mesa County Service Hub.
