The Homeward Bound / United Way Resource Center is now permanently closed. Tuesday’s MAP Distro was the final event held by the center, echoing the first day when the RC opened for a special event for MAP Distro back in January 2024.
Although the physical space of the RC will be closed, services will continue to be provided at locations around Grand Junction. Homeward Bound is opening a Navigation Center next to their shelter at 2853 North Ave. that will offer services such as showers, restrooms, case management, and nursing. United Way will have office space at the Hilltop Family Resource Center at 1129 Colorado Ave. where services such as acudetox, recovery support, and sewing classes will be available.
MAP Distro will be moving to 402 Grand Ave., with parking off 4th & Ouray. (This is in the Downtown Vineyard church gym, next to Good Samaritan clinic).
